Minimal Friction
at Contact Points

The Edona turbine uses a Drag-type design that exerts
minimal force on the shaft (C). The friction on the shaft is low
because it moves with the wind direction at low speeds,
particularly due to the minimal resistance of the returning blade (C').

Streamlined Design with Minimal Parts

The Edona turbine's simple structure is designed to ensure that the movement
of its parts does not place undue stress on each component. It requires
significantly fewer parts compared to conventional turbines. Ideal for
metropolitan settings with closely spaced buildings, the Edona turbine units
can be installed on rooftops or sides of buildings without needing to orient
towards the wind. They efficiently capture direct wind, crosswind, and wind
enhanced by the building’s structure to generate electricity, while also
absorbing vibrations caused by high winds to help stabilize the buildings.
